This 229 mile ride runs through Peel Ferry on serpentine roads through wooded landscape. Interesting stops along the way include the Golden Pioneer Museum, Branson, Bull Shoals Lake and of course, Peel Ferry. Get a Map and Directions!
Located on the War Eagle Mill Ride, Hobbs State Park is Arkansas’ largest park in land area with more than 12,000 acres. Bordering Beaver Lake, the park is home to beautiful natural features and mountain streams. Interpretive services, hiking trails and a state of the art visitors center offer many great activities to break up the trip.
A 177 mile ride includes a stretch of Arkansas road on Highway 123 known as the Dragon’s Tail. Interesting stops along the way include the Buffalo National River, Get a Map and Directions! Lost Valley Park and the historic Harrison Square. Here are some views of the ride:
War Eagle Mill is a working grist mill located in Northwest Arkansas since 1832. Overlooking the War Eagle River, a visit to the mill is a charming trip full of history complete with beautiful Ozark Mountain scenery. War Eagle Mill produces natural and organic goods and serves some of their products on site at the Bean Palace which makes for a hearty lunch.
