A class II/III river is one of the most scenic rivers in Arkansas and was recognized as a National Wild and Scenic River in 1992. Winding through the Ozark National Forest, the Mulberry River features narrow canyons, tall bluffs, pristine woodlands and one of the state’s largest concentrations of black bear.
